When Powder Springs couples go through something stressful, like buying and remodeling a house, one of two things can happen: the marriage can either get stronger or it can fall apart. Sometimes, stress, hard decisions and complications drive a wedge between spouses that may be irreparable. At the same time, the end of the marriage is a chance for both spouses to move forward with someone with whom they are better suited.

When stressful times lead to divorce, however, it is important to work with an experienced divorce attorney. If the stressful situation is ongoing, it may be incredibly difficult to throw a complicated divorce into the mix, as well, but a divorce attorney can take the brunt of the work, leaving you to focus on what needs to get done in other parts of your life.

For one man, the stressful situation that ended his marriage was completely renovating his new home. He and his wife chose to buy a dilapidated house with the intention of fixing it up and creating their first family home. As they went through the long, drawn-out process of actually buying the house and then going through the even longer process of renovating it, the stress was too much for the man’s wife and she asked for a divorce.

Even for someone not in the middle of a remodel, a divorce can take a lot of time and effort. While it is not entirely clear if the man hired a divorce attorney, it is highly unlikely that he would be able to deal with a divorce and making his newly purchased house livable without one. Eventually, he was able to both divorce and finish his home.
